Antenna offers five documentary-packed days in October when audiences, documentary makers and industry members will come together to experience, enjoy and discuss excellent films.

AIDC is co-presenting the Antenna Industry Session, Who Needs Another Festival?

Film festivals operate as leading events in the development and promotion of film culture. Antenna, together with AIDC bring key players to this session to discuss the role and future of film festivals including the Antenna International Documentary Film Festival.

Generation Next Documentary Conference, Melbourne

Open Channel's Generation Next Documentary Conference is a 2-day program of curated seminars, panel discussions, screenings and presentations.

Victoria's emerging documentarians can engage with like-minded peers, learn from and meet those who have done it before, become mindful of existing opportunities for support, and have their work viewed and critiqued.

AIDC is presenting two sessions during the Conference:

• AIDC F4 Highlights - This special screening shows a selection of films that have featured in the F4 program.
• You Had Me at Hello:  How to Pitch An Idea - get the lowdown on what makes a good documentary pitch and how to generate an excellent project proposal document.
